We offer VERnet Housing – placement of your server in our Data Center, just next to our main servers. For reliable operation of your server, we provide:

• uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and monitoring of temperature regime;
• two independent 1 Gbps connection to LIX and direct peering with several Latvian internet service providers;
• high-speed international data transfer channel and independent backup channel.

The server may have any operating system and software; server’s Remote Administration performs the client himself.

How much costs VERnet Housing ?

Startup is free of charge . Bring your server (preferably with no monitor) to our Data Center, and it will be connected to Internet in a few minutes.

The basic tariff is Ls 50 plus VAT per month, and this includes:

• Internet connection 24 hours a day;
• DNS services (domain name recording support and updating);
• connection rate to Latvian resources – up to 100 Mbps;
• connection rate to foreign resources – up to 10 Mbps;
• specified server traffic.

If you are planning to install a server with non-standard casing or power unit, or install the server which is planned for specific purposes (like, proxy server), in this case the price is negotiated.

If you need Internet server, but you don’t have time, nor experience in server software installation and support, we can offer you to leave this to professionals.

Our specialists will talk over with you all the details, discuss specifications of the current task. It takes one week for server installation, configuration and testing since the date the server is placed in our Data Center.

Minimal system requirements – Celeron 2.0 4 2 + Ghz, 512 Mb RAM, 7200 rpm HDD, 100 Mbit net card. Currently, as standard we install Unix FreeBSD, sendmail + cucipop, mysql/pgsql, apache + php, perl + any components client needs. Our specialists will provide your server administration and support, as well as necessary add-ons and re-configurations. This service is called VERnet Housing Pro.

How much costs VERnet Housing Pro ?

Startup fee (server installation and configuration) is Ls 50 - Ls 150 plus VAT.

The monthly fee for VERnet Housing Pro service is added to basic tariff for VERnet Housing. This is a subject to agreement, and it can be fixed price (starting from Ls 40 per month), or it can be set as a total cost of all specific performed administration jobs.
