VERnet Premium Radio – permanent fast connection to Internet for subscriber or group of subscribers via radio link. It’s not rare situation when this is the only possibility to provide Internet connection, and this is especially important in situations where no other communications are available. VERnet Premium Radio is a good alternative to such conventional last resort solutions as DSL and optical cable.
VERSIJA is the only company in Latvia which uses US firm’s Proxim wireless connection system Tsunami MP.11à. Proxim Tsunami MP.11à models serve as WiMAX hardware platform, and they have such advantages as individual frequency for each client, adjustable frequency channel carrying capacity, etc. Nominal data transfer rate that Proxim Tsunami MP.11a producer admits is up to 54 Mbps but in real working conditions – up to 24 Mbps.
In addition to Proxim Tsunami equipment we continue to work with BreezeNet devices produced by Alvarion. It uses Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology that provides reliable uninterrupted connection with data transfer rate up to 2 Mbps.
All this hardware is officially approved in the Republic of Latvia. We have a license from Public Utilities Commission and all the necessary certificates from Electronic Communications directorate and Ministry of Transport as well.
How much VERnet Premium Radio costs?
Subscription price is determined for each client individually. The main factors influencing subscription price are: the connection speed requirements, and whether equipment of VERnet Premium Radio is already installed in the specific building. Client local network’s connection to Internet, regardless of the number of computers, is provided free of charge.
The subscription price for clients who are operating in buildings, where our radio connection is installed, is Ls 21.19 + VAT per month.
If the radio equipment is installed individually then subscription price is from Ls 50.00 + VAT per month.
The subscription price includes unlimited Latvian and foreign traffic as well as the following services:
- real IP addresses;
- e-mail addresses in the following formats: user@versija.lv, user@versia.lv, user@firm.vernet.lv, user@firm.eunet.lv without limitations of size and message storage time;
- incoming e–mail checking with anti-virus software, spam filtration;
- e-mail message copying and forwarding, e-mail auto-responder, notification sending to mobile phone when new e-mail arrives;
- access to e–mail via Webmail (optional);
- VERnet Webhosting services in such an amount as provided in Contract’s Annex intended to tariffs;
- online access to statistics server VERnet Accounting System;
- personal manager consultations via phone or e-mail.

- router and Firewall installation and configuration – from Ls 25.42;
- Firewall system’s support – Ls 10 per month.
